Scott Terrell, Interim Chief Executive Office

Scott Terrell is the Interim Chief Executive Officer of NextPoint Financial. He has over 27 years of experience leading, building and transforming teams and organizations in a variety of companies and industries. He previously served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer at NextPoint Financial from 2021-2023. Prior to that, he served as Chief Information Officer at Liberty Tax from 2019-2021, and Chief Information Officer at HealthMarkets, Inc. from 2013-2019. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas Tech University.

Raymond “Randy” Guba, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Guba comes to us with extensive experience as CFO in public and private companies.  Mr. Guba was Chief Financial Officer for Global Power where he worked with management to set the strategic plan to grow and diversify the business. Mr. Guba was Chief Financial Officer for FTS International where he restructured the company during an industry downturn. Mr. Guba served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Integrated Electrical Services (IES). At IES, he led the financial restructure and integration of 27 independent divisions.  Mr. Guba also served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Kraton Polymers, where he led finance and information technology functions. Mr. Guba served 19 years at General Electric (GE) Company, culminating as Manager of Finance of GE Energy’s Global Installations and Field Services division. Mr. Guba began his career in public accounting where he earned his CPA.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University with a double major in Economics and English.  Mr. Guba is also a graduate of General Electric's Financial Management Program.

Jacob Dayan Esq., Chief Revenue Officer

Jacob Dayan, Esq., is a proven entrepreneur. Prior to joining NextPoint as Chief Revenue Officer, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of Community Tax where he created the vision and set the standard for customer service in the tax resolution industry. Chicago native Dayan has extensive experience as a financial analyst working in New York City as well as working for a large Multi-Strategy hedge fund. Jacob also assisted in the launch of Consumer Law Group, LLC, an Illinois Law firm focused on offering legal services to the Hispanic Community. Mr. Dayan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
